Forget about downsizing, these guys have tried that. The free tabloid just announced they’re going to just stop publishing here next month. Web version’s going away too. They couldn’t find a buyer.

Let us pause for a moment to bid farewell to The Examiner. For a little while, thanks to them, we were a two-newspaper town, treated to the occasional tawdry, but tell-it-like-it-is headline like this one. So, a bad day for the local news biz and for Baltimore. We’ve lost 90 jobs and lots of journalistic eyes and ears.
