Reading carefully can be hard too….. There’s “feet square” which is what we wrote if you go back and look at the piece and “square feet” which is what you’re talking about, Tim.
So here’s our math lesson: 330 feet square is a square that measures 330 feet on each side.
That is 330 x 330 feet = 108,900 square feet.
An acre is 43,560 square feet, so that is approximately 2.47 acres, rounded off to 2.5 acres because we are dealing with a precision of two significant digits.
Or do you like the City’s math better?

(Never mind that the city’s math is as bad as in the previous report; the blocks in the corridor are approximately 330 feet square, which is only about 2.5 acres.)

Yeah, my living room and dining room together are about 330 square feet, not anywhere near one acre, let alone two and a half.

Math really is hard.
