That will take good, effective, safe, public schools. No citywide renaisance will happen until the schools are fixed and that won't happen until the urban family is fixed. They're trying to make it look like a done deal so nobody fights them... As Mr. Crosland points out: this project isn't for the communities it's going through. It's not for transit riders: no transit rider organization supports it. So who's it for? The answer seens obvious: developers and politicians whose campaigns are funded by the developers. It does matter what residents everywhere say – the process is not over. They’re trying to make it look like a done deal so nobody fights them… As Mr. Crosland points out: this project isn’t for the communities it’s going through.
