Video simulation of the Red Line on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (MTA)
Some sleek bullet-nosed light rail cars are zipping past the University of Maryland Biopark, the rail cars dive into a tunnel under downtown, the stops look like the DC Metro, everything is clean and Second Life-ish, there’s snappy music in the background that sounds like the intro to a public radio morning talk show. . . .
You’re wondering . . . is this a dream?
No, it’s the Maryland Transit Administration’s nifty Red Line video, up on their website today. Maybe some have seen this already, but we hadn’t. Click through for the link and tell us what you think….
Thanks, by the way, to Baltimore Skyline for keeping up with the MTA’s website and pointing this out.
