Protecting kids from H1N1 and seasonal flu: Johns Hopkins experts answer questions (VIDEO)
Video of news conference in which health officials and experts from Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Baltimore City Health Department answer questions about how to prevent and treat swine and seasonal flu in children and adults.
They discuss when to seek medical help if your child has flu symptoms, how to treat flu, what precautions are necessary (or “overstated”) in local schools. There’s also information on a flu clinic planned at Poly-Western High School on Oct. 15, from noon to 8 pm for people between the ages of 2 and 24. (This was from Dr. Anne Bailowitz, acting chief medical officer for the Baltimore City Health Department.)
