But these ladies can&#039;t do it alone. If Turners Station is to survive and thrive in the 21st Century, this historic community needs help from elected officials, from county, state and federal regulators, and from Maryland&#039;s leading environmental and public health groups.

Environmental injustice destroyed Hawkins Point, another once-proud African American waterfront community located across the Patapsco River from Turners Station. We simply cannot stand by and let this happen again.
