i dont think we should stop the tradition just cuz the guy is gone. if your grandfather died would you stop leaving at his grave cuz someone wouldn’t go with you?

I don’t believe this man is the Poe Toaster. Even though his he was well known in his community doesn’t mean he is the one. Of corse I could be wrong but I doubt it. As sad as things are, someone will step up to take his place.

His name is spelled Edgar Allan Poe not Edgar Allen Poe!

This would be more believable if David Franks’ physical appearance matched the Poe Toaster.

Alas, there is no similarity between the two. None.
