Rock n’ roll pirate party
“Get your arghh on this weekend”
You know how sometimes two very different things don’t make sense together, and sometimes they really, really do? The latter is true in the case of the Tiki Barge’s upcoming event featuring an unlikely synthesis of pirates and rock n’ roll (and, of course, alcohol, which synthesizes with anything).
To clarify, what you need to this Saturday, is dress up like a rock n’ roll pirate (we’re guessing that entails something along the lines of leather pants paired with a double-breasted velveteen coat), head to the month-old Tiki Bar – Baltimore’s latest floating nightlife attraction – drink delicious rum-based cocktails in pretty cups, and watch the entertainingly so-so Phillip Seymour Hoffman-starring flick Pirate Radio with your similarly adorned and equally inebriated fellow Baltimoreans.
As if that weren’t enough different things to wrap your head around, the winner of the costume contest will receive a free helicopter ride.
