Baltimore’s sassy quick-witted female rap duo Get Em Mamis – perhaps best known for their musical appearances on the The Wire – “were approached by a major network producer for a reality show” to be set in Baltimore – according to an announcement from the pair on twitter, who also issued a request to fans for commentary and video footage to help them land the deal, which would be with VH1.  “We [are] not asking for you support , we are telling you we need you’re support,” they added.
