In a move no doubt appreciated by busy prosecutors, a powerful Prince George’s county lawmaker accused of influence peddling in an indictment yesterday created a document to track his favors, The Baltimore Sun reports.
State Senator Ulysses Currie (D-Prince George’s County) wrote a document entitled “Accomplishments on Behalf of Shoppers,” in which he listed 12 state and legislative hurdles he had removed to benefit the company, Shoppers Food Warehouse, according to the indictment reviewed by The Sun.
