Stat-shot: Baltimore’s population has decreased 2% in the past 10 ten years
Baltimore is getting smaller, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. Based on recent information from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Journal reports that the city’s population has “suffered the nation’s ninth-sharpest populations decline” – 13,737 people to be exact – since 2000. According to the Journal, this makes Bmore the 21st largest city in the U.S., down from the 18th-largest in 2000.
