“State of the City” speech miss your reality? Tell us “The State of Your Block.” New: prize offered . . .
Above: What’s the mood on your block these days?
How does Baltimore look from where you sit, Brew readers?
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake just gave us her mayor’s-eye-view, in a “State of the City” speech meant to be a look back on the year, a status report on the city, and an action plan for the coming days.
You might have seen or read our analysis of Rawlings-Blake’s’ address or read the full text online but, unless we missed something, we’re pretty sure it didn’t mention the state of your alley, who moved out or moved in, whether your car was broken into, the fact that your brother was shot or that your child’s school raised test scores and won a national award.
That’s the kind of thing we want to know at Baltimore Brew. Go HERE to learn more and then just type your “block report” into the comments section. Be as pointed or poetic as you want. We’ll publish the best of these, with photos, later this month.
