
A truly dark Halloween event: United Workers pickets BDC

Marching to the tune of a spirited brass band playing the Ghostbusters theme song – with lyrics re-written as “Poverty Busters” – a rally and march was held Sunday in downtown Baltimore.
It started outside the headquarters of the Baltimore Development Corp. (BDC) at Charles and Lombard streets and ended up at the Occupy Baltimore site at McKeldin Square.
Here’s a ‘s open letter to the BDC, the city’s economic development arm, as part of their “Another BDC is Possible” campaign.
The group is planning another rally at BDC headquarters on Mon., Nov. 7, at 5 pm.
