BigBoyz and Believe-ers: Halloween 2011 in Baltimore

Above: Baltimore’s ubiquitous BigBoyz Bail Bonds pens came to life Saturday.

The little kids are going trick-or-treating tonight, but Baltimore’s big kids started Halloween early on Saturday, leaving propriety and PG ratings behind.

By big kids we mean, for example, the partiers who made the scene clad in duct tape, spandex and Dynel wigs at Gutter Magazine‘s Third Annual Dead Celebrity Ball at the Metro Gallery.

And by the ditching of propriety and PG-ishness, we’re talking about, among others, the sexy nurses, drag queen Grannies and the couple who showed up as Marilyn and JFK after the grassy knoll. (Props to Blades of Glory.)

Among those present was Cullen Nawalkowsky, shedding for a night his role as a public face of Occupy Baltimore, and assuming his other persona, “DJ Cullen Stalin.” (If only, I hadn’t been temporarily hobbled by recent knee surgery  – *&^%$-ing ACL tear  – I might have been there.)

Instead, here are a couple of photos from the party that we found (sigh) on the Internets of some of the more B-more-centric costumes from that night. (Especially loved those Big Boyz pens.)  Happy Halloween, Baltimore!
