Earlier this week The Brew reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been using the GUNTRY gun range in Owings Mills since 2020 to train agents, leading some people to cancel their membership.

Responding days after publication, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson finally confirmed our reporting about this club in the suburbs north of Baltimore with a one-sentence statement:

“ICE uses this facility to provide required annual firearms and tactical training for its law enforcement personnel.”
